Trung Quốc đệ đơn lên WTO ‘đòi’ Mỹ đền bù tổn thất

Trong 2 đơn khiếu nại với Tổ chức Thương mại Thế giới (WTO) hôm thứ hai (26/3), Trung Quốc yêu cầu Mỹ bồi thường giá trị giao dịch thương mại bị mất do thuế thép của Tổng thống Donald Trump. Thuế quan này dự kiến sẽ ảnh hưởng tới 689 triệu USD thép và nhôm xuất khẩu của Trung Quốc sang thị trường Mỹ.

Bắc Kinh bác bỏ lý do "dựa trên cơ sở an ninh quốc gia" Washington đưa ra, khẳng định đây là biện pháp nhằm bảo hộ nhà sản xuất trong nước. Nếu Mỹ phản đối lập luận này, Trung Quốc có thể yêu cầu WTO làm trung gian hòa giải trong một cuộc tranh chấp chính thức.
