British Prime Minister Theresa May is set to face a leadership challenge Wednesday after lawmakers in her Conservative Party triggered a no-confidence vote, throwing another wrench into the U.K.’s planned departure from the European Union.
The vote will take place Wednesday evening, after 48 Conservative lawmakers sent letters of no confidence in Mrs. May to a special committee. The committee’s chairman, Graham Brady, confirmed the vote would take place.
