Theo BVSC, P/E của chỉ số VN-Index hiện khoảng 16 lần. Diễn biến tăng điểm mạnh mẽ tcủa chỉ số VN-Index trong năm qua đã khiến P/E của chỉ số này tăng từ mức 8,7 lần giai đoạn đầu năm 2012 lên mức 15,9 lần cuối năm 2016.
